OBITUARY Private Richard Gleed-Owen of 5 (Mansfield) Platoon, F (Notts Home Service Force) Company 3WFR passed away peacefully on 18 Nov 20 surrounded by members of his family. No grandchildren or other attendees. Interment afterwards in adjoining churchyard. In the meantime the other section, led by 2Lt OW Morris (RAOC attached), tried to outflank the bandits but he was shot dead. In retirement he lived in Harleston in Norfolk.
